Human Trafficking

The money involved in Human Trafficking represents billions per year. They are many ways in which people are being sold into slavery and prostitution and every year they are improving their methods. This evil involves children from as young as 5 years old who often become too old for the business by age 20.

Human Trafficking

Home life was full of poverty

Using dried twigs when really hungry

My mother was away most of the time

And dad for a days work got a US dime

Nefarious men stole me one day

Took me to a place far away

Raped me for days to break me in

And dressed me up for group partying

For all the time I never tried to run

Fearful that Pandora’s nightmare had begun

I received threats on my family

Couldn’t do anything to harm their safety

Kept my faith and I tried helping the others

It was unbelievable, babies taken from their mothers

Now after 6 years, I’m discarded as too old

Grew to 20 years when I was no longer sold
