How it’s the result of merchant’s price gouging

Everything’s being done to curb this trend

Introduction of growing veggies in our home garden

Naming 26 items that would be under price control

Does this mean as individuals we change our role

Every one of us, to spend less on what we wear

Practice tailoring and to spend less to fix our hair

Every one learns hairdressing, so what else should we do

Now all of us should become doctors too

Diagnosing our troubles to save on money

Eliminate the need for the medical fraternity

Now we have struggle to gain our Independence

The powers that be suggest a backwards transcendence

Let me tell you what I think Government should do

Install community outlets which sell products they grew

For prices way below the market’s going rate

Encourage the consumption of these foods without a profit
