A Eyeful en' A Bellyful

Twisted feelings and perverted enticing have caused the creation of this Bajan Proverb, so I think. People shouldn’t be this cruel to each other

A Eyeful en’ A Bellyful

Apples and chocolate with marshmallows and strawberry

Enticing treats lying on the table were eye candy

Your eyes will see things and yearn for them

Eyeful is seeing, then yearning, then you’re overwhelm’

Full from seeing and never getting a bite

Uneasy feelings that bring a joy but never delight

Looking on makes you want to savor the treat

Eye candy is only good when you’re allowed to eat

Now the stomach is the way to a man heart

A basket of eye candy and his cravings will start

But if taken away when his eyes are popping

Elevated hormones rush with little chance for stopping

Looking and not touching or eating these delicacies

Leaves men thinking that you were only a tease

You shouldn’t give a man an eyeful and just

Forbid him from partaking and leave him to lust

Unfairly women may tempt then restrict and say a bit much

Like a eyeful en’ a bellyful and see but don’t touch
