No-Confidence Vote

There is so much talk about what we will do, lots of promises and then ..well then, they are just ultimately politicians.  On side is boasting “bring it on” while behaving on National television like they “had in a few”. The other side is threatening to rain a fury of unprecedented political activity, unlike ever seen in Barbados before, to precede the No-Confidence motion. Well today is the day and thus far no fire just smoke. I have little or no confidence in the vain promises

No-Confidence Vote

Now I wasn’t in Deacons but I read in the morning nation

Opposition Leader was going to table a no-confidence motion

Clyde Mascoll was to be the recipient and David Thompson says

Owen Arthur will be given a deadline of 30 days

No one in the BLP behave like they wanted to wait

Forcing the DLP to “bring it on”, and not to abate

It’s disconcerting to witness these boyish threats

DLP, BLP both engaging in these political roulettes

Each having vain or boastful assertions

Neither being 100% with the citizens

Can we believe any of their rants and when can we

Expect to find better practices of integrity

Voters were promised unprecedented activity before

Opposition Leader can bring the motion to the floor

There is no fire amidst all of the raging smoke

Every one thinks the no-confidence motion a joke
