Screaming Silently

We encourage the wrongs of society by ignoring them. We also encourage them by amusing ourselves by watching the next Humpty Dumpty have a fall. The problem with ignoring the problem is that like a vine it can grow and strangle all in its path.

Screaming Silently

So often they scream but we never hear

Concentrating only on ourselves, they disappear

Running to get away from being involved

Evading a problem that can easily be solved

All the social misfits that we see

Materializing in our proximity

Intruding our social order with obvious abuse

Nefarious intentions still we refuse

Getting involve would mean surrendering our time

Such participation is treated like a social crime

I think that these misfits are shouting help me

Like the present behavior from celeb Britney

Each one of us has a common role to play

Never stay silent when we see moral decay

Take time to report when you see a wrong

Let society heal its own and to make the nation strong

You must mend the hole before it ruins the smock

Prevent circumstances from delivering another big rock
