I'm A Dreamer And I Know

They call me a big dreamer, so what if I am, should I stop it if it gives me an opportunity to be adventurous in my mind. Today I’m superman, and tomorrow I can be another super hero.

I’m A Dreamer And I Know

Imagine if our dogs and other pets could talk

‘Mango and other trees, if they could walk

And we could leap over buildings like superman

Divide the sea with a wave of your hand

Reach in the air and pull a cloud from the sky

Erase death so that no one could die

And imagine eating lots but never getting fat

Mindless emanations all day in idle chat

Enjoying sporting events in the hottest sun

Running in the rain barefooted, splashing puddles for fun

A flight with your arms could take you across

National boundaries like the great albatross

Dancing with natural finesse like Fred Astaire

Inviting Presidents over and sporting you exquisite dinnerware

Keeping all your best moments on recordable tapes

Neatly displaying your trophies, all sizes and shapes

Oh, if these fantasies seem a bit extreme

When I go to sleep, day or night, I always dream
