She Snapped

Abuse of any kind moulds individuals into living time bombs that may go off when you lease expect. The rage which builds up in the victim can become so explosive that it may hurt many other innocents when it’s finally released.

She Snapped

So many years she cried

How often she had tried

Every evening when he came

So often things were the same

Never strong enough to leave

Always prepared for what she’ll receive

Prepare to be beaten to a pulp

Prepared to swallow fear in a gulp

Except this evening she wasn’t as trapped

Death came to her lover when she snapped
