Should We Wear Makeup

When is it right to put on a face? Do we deceive when we wear an outer cover to disguise what lies beyond?

Should We Wear Makeup

Should we have a brave face when confronted by a killer

Have the wherewithal to wear this fearless cover

Or during bad times when we are feeling down

Use a smile when we really feel to frown

Load’s unbearable and you are as beaten as you can get

Do you dig your heels in and walk erect

When at the restaurant you meet a lazy waitress

Ever thank her even though you think she was useless

Waiting in the doctors office and he’s 3 hours late today

Ever showed patience despite the inconsiderate delay

And when it’s your turn to  go right in

Release a smile and ask him how he’s doing

Mischief seem rampant at work all around

And when the boss comes you seem happy to get along

Kids misbehave when their parents leave them with you

Ever ignored their conduct enduring all that they do

Unrequited apologies come after a fight

Polite submissions even when you are right
