Thank You Friend
Thanks to those of
my friends who came over this weekend to sit with me for a while. I know you
don’t seek any special mention but after talking with my sister and realizing how
she would much rather sending someone a gift than taking her precious time out
to visit, reminded me of the importance some people place on the time they have
available to do their daily task. To manage to devote some of your time to
others is a very special gift. I don’t get out like before and the only faces I
see are those of my family. It is refreshing to be able to gaze on old friends
and share some laughs. These are priceless.

this old friend and showed you care Kindness
is shown in so many ways You
can even email it nowadays Only
yesterday my sister and I dissected giving Unbelievable
how people value the time they are sparing For
her it’s more precious to give of her time Really
costly yet you don’t spend a dime It’s
a whole lot easier to send people a present Email
a card, send flowers or some generous intent None
of these though valued, are as precious to me Devoting your time to sit with me is divinity |
i like this poem just goes to show the importance of having friends that care
