Flock Of Birds

Sometimes we try to correct a wrong or better a situation with honorable efforts that meet tragic ends. This tells us that although we may set out to do what seems right to us, it does not mean that we weren’t wrong in our assessment of the fix

Flock of Birds

From memories of a more youthful day

Lingers “bad apples causes the others decay”

On this I pondered when I saw the birds

Collecting in front my home, defying all words

Kingly adorned but a beastly few

Outrageously behaved with appalling debut

Frustrated I thought to chase these offenders that day

But my efforts with this few caused the flock to fly away

I miss the beauty the whole flock brought to me

Restful pleasure and their calming tranquility

Determine to rid the flock of this bad one

Shooed it away but the others are all gone
