The Master's Hand
The Master’s Hand
was a poem I read as a boy. It described and old violin which was being
auctioned and the bid never getting started regardless to the pleas of the
auctioneer, “do I hear $1.00…. Then out of no where an old man came and took up
the violin. He played it to the delight of the bidders and returned to the
seat. “Do I hear $1000…the auctioneer started and the bid climbed high. That
old master increased the value of the violin by letting them hear it’s
potential. Every young musician has this potential but even more, their music
can one day delight the ears of God.
