The Cowardice of Fearless

I was on my way to the Hospital yesterday when I saw two young men running across the road with little respect for the traffic and even less for the law. They were brandishing swords with naked blades and one shouted to the other, “we should get a gun and put him out”. Then I came home and saw on the release of the new series “The Bionic Woman”, a man attacking Jamie with a knife and a whole lot of bad talk about what he was going to do to her but quickly changed his attitude when she over powered him. He pleaded for his life and squirmed away. A friend once reminded me of how difficult it is for Satan to look upon Jesus and every since I remember the power of God’s armour.  Most of our intruders are cowards at heart who fear the power of God and anyone who wears His armour

The Cowardice of Fearless

They superficially exhibit a brave façade

Have forums boasting the experiences they‘d had

Eager to brandish an infallible self-scrutiny

Committed to self declared impunity

Or take those who trespass in the dark of night

With weapons to avoid retaliators’ fight

And appear in groups to increase their odds

Raping, stealing and killing in their villainous squads

Danger they mete out to gain control

Inflicting pain or anything to break your soul

Clenching to their hopes that you’ll give in

Excited by the prospect that evil will win

Our rogues and criminals are cowards in disguise

Fearful to look upon GOoD in the eyes

Frighten to give up their villainous way

Embarrassed to bow their heads to pray

And these cowards when the tables were turned

Rehabilitated in prisons yet they didn’t learned

Love of God will silence your fear

Embraces His power removes all despair

So when these cowards posing fearless come your way

Smile with God’s love and for them say a pray
