Playing With Fire

A friend was innocently observing a callers flirt way. Repeated he would call with varying funny stories which brought some pleasure and because he always was separate my miles of telephone lines, she went along with his flirting. I don’t believe she ever thought that he was gradually gaining confidence to one day pounce on her. She always believed that if he was to make the wrong move that she would always be able to avert trouble. She was playing with the fires of hell and never knew how really hot it can burn. It is not what he may do in this life time but where he causes you to be in the afterlife.

Play With Fire And You’ll Get Burnt

Parents warn kids from very small

Listen to what we say and advert your downfall

Always remember this lesson you’ll learn

You play with fire you bound to get burn

When you are growing up this fire comes in disguise

It camouflages itself to betray your eyes

Takes on different personas to pull you astray

Huddles up close to you in its alluring way

Flaming, glowing, blazing and things that are hot

It’s these tempting allures that we ought not

Relish like the sparkles of the flickering flame

Excitement by these may result in everlasting shame

A passion burning like a fire and hot within

Never cools with temporary squirts and are soon rekindling

Dynamite can’t be place in a blazing hole

You’ll soon implode and destroy your precious soul

Our parents may have warned us but how can we see

Unlit flames of Satan’s treachery

Little harmless glows and warmth that delight

Learn what doesn’t burn and also what might

Girls are bombarded with advances every day

Every day little flames light a path on the way

To the dark side where there is no turning back

Boys too will get on this perilous track

Use the Father guidance, your life He’ll save

Repentance from sin averts the fiery grave

Never forget the lesson you have learnt

That if you play with fire you’ll get burnt
