bring about our declining integrity The
thousands of young people who are now dying Result
in even more people back home crying And
their lives are lost then justified Encouraged
by leaders who we’ve glorified United
States are separating on war policy Seems
more than half think it’s a travesty But
turning back is hard and war will prevail Elected
officials got the terrorist lion by the tail The
purpose of this battle now puzzles me Retaliation
because of the 911 tragedy And
now 130 thousand lives have been displaced Young
men and women’s integrity misplaced United
by a cause of enforcing morality Separated
by the doubts of their leaders honesty |
