Beautifully Made

We can never in a life time fully understand the intricacies of the human body. Recently when I learnt of a young ladies illness and the brilliance of her doctors to save her from the paralysis of Transverse Myelitis, I was amazed. But as I read on, the doctors almost removed a suspicious piece of her liver only to learn that a biopsy of the growth would prove it to be benign. Thankfully no liver surgery was required

Beautifully Made

My dad and I were arguing today

About doctors and their ability

Really committed to what he did say

Very passionate about this fraternity

Every doctor he thinks should be devoted to study

Learn all about the entire man

Life long training into the intricacies of the human body

Overall treatment each Doctor should understand

Unable to convince him of the impossibilities

Submitting to being unresolved

It’s incredible the numbers of medical specialties

So many fields, training, rotations, exams are involved

How surprised I was when he ultimately said

It would require God’s intervention

Such knowledge not from books but from Our Father instead

God must be the doctor’s inspiration

Lord we know you made us beautifully

Our intricacies are beyond the unholy man

Reach out and touch our medical fraternity

Your blessings must guide their healing hand
