Jesus Take The Wheel

Do you have enough faith to let go both hands. I still find myself clutching back every time the car veers off my expected path. The feeling of being out of control still lingers even when I give up full control to a better driver. Sitting in the passenger’s seat can be sometimes alarming

Jesus Take The Wheel

Jesus Take The Wheel brings tears to my eyes

Every time I hear it I’m like a mourner who cries

Solemnly I reflected on those times I too did appeal

Uncontrolled times when I asked that He take the wheel

So many times I saw life like a car on the go

Traffic jams, wrong turns and roads I didn’t know

And always I would pray for His control

Knelt and asked God to play this ultimate role

Entrusted Him when life did overwhelmed

Trusted Him to be always at the helm

His love is strong and His power is mighty

Exalting His name would come easy to me

Worries and anger would be no more

His graces would make me braver than before

Except my faith was never as strong

Every time I said I’ll let go, I was wrong

Letting both hands go was harder than you’ll feel

I pray for the strength to really let Jesus Take The Wheel

Jesus just wants us to love him back.
And by truly loving him, we will trust him, trust him to not let us fall to utter destruction.

If only we could really love God. That's why it's important to love our fellow man because it prepares us for falling in love with God.

His Word says how can we expect to love Him who we cannot see if we can't even love our fellow man who we can see.
