Let No Man Join Together
I know that my
opinions on this will differ but I strongly believethat one of the reasons
there is so much disharmony in marriages is because these people are not really
married in the eyes of God. I don’t believe that when God sanctions the union
of two people that there is anything Man can do to put it asunder. But I
equally believe the reverse; if God doesn’t approve the union of two people
then nothing can be done to make them compatible. The problem is that we judge
Marriages made by Man by the same rules as Marriages sanctioned by God.

others to think it’s okay Those
whom God has put asunder Never
should be joined in the matrimonial way Our
Lord is strict about His plans Marriage
is sanctioned only by He And
if we put it in Man’s hands Nothing
amounts by iniquity Joined
by the Lord’s Blessing Only
He can break this bond If
the Lord sanctioned them uniting Nobody
can put asunder anyone Those
unsanctioned couples who married Ought
therefore to understand God’s
blessings unless first carried Exempt
the bond between wife and husband These
unions are therefore not marriages Have
no bond by the Word Everyone
joined this way throughout the ages Risk
never having their prayers heard |
