ComEpromise

I really enjoyed Sesame Street growing up. And I thought it was great how they introduce me to the silent ‘e’. I still play with the changes this incredible letter can make once added to a word. “A little hug becomes huge instantly, if you just add silent ‘e’!” Well I thought of what happens when you turn up the volume on this letter. I added it near the centre of this word and found that it splits the word into two and changes its meaning. Learn how you can change compromise into God inspired actions. Remember you never compromise any thing when you invite God into your decision to execute it. So and ‘e’ to compromise [‘e’ for exalting God]

This work was inspired by the first sermon in the landmine series, which corresponds with Chapter 6 in “Landmines in the Path of the Believer,” Dr. Charles Stanley’s new book. See the In Touch Ministries website.

ComEpromise

ComE promise to exalt Him each and every day

On Him you must trust and His words obey

Make exalting Him your standard and remember if you

Exclude Him, you’ll COMePROMISE all that you do

Putting God first in the decisions you take

Rewards you success and a better person He’ll make

One little sip, one touch or just one lottery ticket

May seem little but will soon turn into a habit

It’s critical that you never cross the line

Stay on the straight and narrow to avoid this landmine

Exalt God through your conduct, go out on a limb

Set God first, obey His word and leave the consequences to Him
