I STARVE Daily! Do You!
Thanks to a very
caring friend I was directed to one of her favorite Websites, Don Moen where I
saw his tabs and mouse over summaries. They inspired the following poem. My
credit to Don Moen for his concept and my friend for think enough of me to
introduce it. I have added one other component to the original recipe and can
say without a doubt, “I STARVE Daily!” I pray that you do to!

I STARVE Daily! Do You? Food
for the inner self is not picked or grown Eaten
after preparation by any means known Essential
nutrients to feed your inner self Don’t
directly affect your physical health The
things you say and do will nourish your soul Have
lasting effects and should be your ultimate goal Every
day as you take your daily bread Include
STARVE to ensure your soul is well fed No
hidden agenda or ulterior motives for Sincerity Nor
deceitfulness, let other see your heart’s Transparency Exude
Authenticity through who you are and what
you do Realty
ensures what folks see is what they get, no phony in you Show
you heart’s depth, your Vulnerability in
works you penned Evangelize God’s gift of the Savior to foe and friend Let
STARVE define you and practice it daily Feed
your inner self and strengthen your personality |
