Celebrities' Glory

The light in celebrities’ eyes can be blinding. If we look at what is going on with the four Divas in the USA then this is a certain observation. But, in all sympathy to young uprising stars, imagine this scenario. You are walking a tight rope (life) when all of a sudden, flood lights are spotted in your face (you become a celebrity). Can you still comfortably maintain balance (make good choices in life) or are you likely to fall left (give into alcohol, drugs, bling and sex) or fall right (lose all integrity). Then imagine your safety net is removed (support from family and friends) and someone loosens the rope (life gets more difficult every step of the way). Can you envy those in the spotlight? How admirable it is when any celebrity makes it safely through another day? This is a salute to our own international Celebrity, Robyn Rihanna Fenty and all others who are in the spot light.

Celebrities Glory

Can you imagine what it’s like

Every day being in the spot light

Lens all around you where ever you go

Every where it’s like a fashion show

Boys, girls, men and women, they’re all the same

Relinquishing their privacy by adopting fame

Invaded by eager fans and persistent paparazzi

The pressure is great living as a celebrity

It’s like a tight rope walking the path that’s straight

Eyes blinded in the lights the paparazzi make

Slightly left there is alcohol, drugs and sex, a red zone

Go right there’re users, abusers, crowds but you’re alone

Life is fast but you must move daintily

Or you may crash and burn from your vanity

Right when you think you are getting it right

Your rope is loosened, net removed and it’s a balance fight.
