Keys To Prevention

My friend sent this to all her friends because she wanted to share the message with us. I was fortunate to be on her mailing list since we only recently reconnected, and even more fortunate to be her friend. The message is simple yet there are so many things simple that we can do and we don’t. I am determined to be more proactive than reactive in my life, to do those things that come easily and strive to achieve the impossible. The next time you pass on your car keys, pass on the keys to prevention

Keys To Prevention

Keep this idea in your head

Every time you’re going into bed

Your car keys should be rested near

Switch on the alarm in times of fear

The car alarm will drive intruders out

Or alert the neighbors if it’s hard to shout

Panic buttons reach the alarm from afar

Relay its signal to where you park your car

Emergencies may all be treated this way

Victims of falls or whenever you’re not okay

Every time you cannot reach your phone

Neighbors would ensure you’re not left alone

There’s another key to chase your fears away

If you’re going to bed or anytime, say a pray

Our Heavenly Father is on a 24/7 patrol

No neighborhood watch or 911 has His control
