Wan'dah Woman

I’m not good with the Bajan Slang but I wanted to play with my interpretation of the Woman song. Am I getting Wan’ dah right? Would you pronounce it corruptly to sound like wonder. I believe wan’dah means want that. Instead of this woman wondering about all the ills in society, my wan’dah woman plays on greed and lust. Hey the guys out there may also wan’dah woman

Wan’ dah motorcar

Or de big big house

Now mek me into a movie star

Dis is me endless grouse

Every man appreciate

Rosie didn’t write de song

Wan’ dah woman is great

Only I gone and write it wrong

My wan’ dah is a begging to get

And she wonder begs to know

Now I have no regret

      I didn’t write a calypso
