Today A Prayer


Today is particularly special for me  because I get to celebrate a very important person’s Birthday.

 

She may not be in touch with me now but she is always in my prayers and thoughts.



 

This day my Lord I’ll celebrate

On things you’ve made for me so great

Days full of your blessings and glory

All those things you’ve given me

You showed me a better way

And now dear Lord I kneel and pray

Pray that though to the world she’s but one

Recognize for this one my world is Shawn

And so dear Lord my prayer will be

Your love protects her through eternity

Evil may seek to get in her way

Rebuke it all and give her a Happy Birthday!
