Be Calm Be Still

When we are most troubled and we should turn to the Lord we get doubtful and impatient, wanting the quick fix.

This is not unusual; his disciples often demonstrated a lack of faith

Blessed Jesus hear my voice

Encourage me into the very best choice

Cold winds blowing the waters rush in

And Jesus laid in the back sleeping

Let’s wake Him, the water is too high!

Master, carest thou not that we die?

But He soon rebuked the Wind

Eased away the Sea, made it calm within

Said unto us why do you fear

Through faith they’ll be no despair

In a trance we feared exceedingly

Looked at each other inquisitively

Look how the Wind and rain obeyed His Voice

Faith in the Master shall be our best choice!
